Terms
Last updated October 4, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Yumion app and this website. By using Yumion you agree to them. Questions go to hello@yumion.app.
What Yumion is
Yumion shows grocery prices and health information to help you shop. Prices come from shelf tags, stores’ websites and other shoppers’ scans, and each one says where it came from and when. Prices change, tags get misread and stores don’t always charge what the shelf says, so the price at the register is the one that counts.
Not medical advice
Health scores and food suggestions are general information, not medical or dietary advice. Always read the package label, especially for allergies, and talk to a doctor or dietitian about your health.
Your account
You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple account secure, since it is the key to your Yumion account. You can delete your Yumion account from inside the app at any time.
Yumion Plus
Some features need a Yumion Plus subscription, bought through the App Store. The price is shown in the app before you buy. It renews automatically until you cancel, which you can do in your Apple account’s subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store’s rules.
Fair use
Please scan honestly. Don’t submit prices you know are wrong, try to break or overload the service, or copy our data in bulk. We may suspend accounts that do.
What you share
Prices you scan become part of Yumion’s price index, and you let us keep and show them to other shoppers. See the privacy policy for how we handle your data.
No guarantees
Yumion is provided as is. We work hard to keep it accurate and running, but we can’t promise it will always be either. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses from relying on a price or a score.
Changes
If these terms change, we will update this page and the date at the top. Using Yumion after a change means you accept the new terms.
